MY PARTS are HERE !!!!

after searching and looking and having a $400 Budget
I came in at 427.99 with tax and shipping.

I started by picking a processor
after going thru the a bunch I picked
ADM Phenom II 945 quad core 3.0 Hz

After searching for MOBO I pick the :
Biostar TA790GXE because of the on board overclocking software
and the on board bios auto upgrade software.

Picked Corsair MXS2 4GB PC6400 DDR2 Memory

Had only one option for a Vid Card
Sapphire Radeon HD5750

of course need a big power supply to feed it all
LSP650 650 watt

needed something to put the game on (AvP3)
Seagate 160GB SATA ll HDD

and can't forget a tube of Thermo-Gel

So here what everything looks like before I get started...
not going to sleep till it's done...
Hope I don't screw this up...

I do not overclock though.

Its funny, I was sure I was gonna buy another chaintech mobo.

But they quited maiking mobo's

it's running had a problem ..NO sound XP would not find the new on board sound chip... so being Sunday we played AvP without sound...let me tell you the new Vid Card ROCKS
So when I got home from work call Biostar support and they had me check a few things....then at the end of all this cjecking he asked what service pack I was running.... I told him SP2..

and he said SP2 did not support the new drivers and that i have to load SP3..

now I have stayed away from SP3 because of all the bad press..but since this was a new clean install and IF i wanted sound I would have to go for it and since this was a clean install i felt there was a good chance all would go well..

After download and reboot we hear the wonderful sound of the Windows start up tune ...all is fine and running sweet.
